Walking along the new path to the forest entrance
Approaching the Commemorative Stone
Mr. Takeuchi and student representative Gigi prepare to unveil the stone
The covering is removed as poppers pop and confetti flies . . .
. . . and we see the Commemorative stone!
Sec. General Ichinose invites us to take a walk through the new forest
Participants head out on the winding trail seeing the plates on the trees.
A glorious day greets those viewing the trees for the first time

Looking back on the trail with Mt. Hakkai and Mt. Komagatake towering over the IUJ dorms
Such a spendid day - after a week of rain and snow - for this commemorative event
