Public Relations
Jan. 24, 2003
The 2003 Winter IIEP (Intensive International Executive Program) started on Monday, January 20. The IIEP runs three times a year, with a 4-week Spring Program, a 10-week Summer Program, and a 6-week Winter Program. The IIEP provides corporate-sponsored participants with general and practical business skills as well as communication skills in English. Content lectures are provided by IUJ's MBA and international relations faculty. The 6-week Winter Program started off well with participants from various industries (pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, manufacturing, primary industries, marine products) and the participants are actively interacting with each other inside and outside of the class. "The first major activity in each program is a 30 - 40 minute oral presentation, on the second day of the program. The guys in this program did an exceptionally good job, and in general our IIEP participants now come to us with more says IIEP Director Tom Hayes.
