Japan Business Model Competition 2015 in Niigata was held

On Sunday, December 6, the Japan Business Model Competition 2015 in Niigata was held at MLIC 3F Hall. This event was conducted by ICLOVE (International Collaboration for Local Organizations in Venture and Entrepreneurship) in collaboration with GSIM faculty members. Six IUJ student teams and two NUT(Nagaoka University of Technology) student teams participated, and there were 5 Judges, Mr. Soo, an Angel investor, Mr. Hiramatsu, CEO of Kozocom, Inc., Mr. Matsubara, Professor at Niigata University, Mr. Maruyama, Professor at Graduate Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies, and Mr. Rajasekera, Vice President of IUJ. IUJ Culti-fiesta 2015

IUJ Culti-fiesta was held on Saturday, November 28 at the IUJ Gymnasium Hall. Culti-fiesta is a cultural program hosted by GSO-EC (The Graduate Student Organization Executive Committee) to promote camaraderie among IUJ students. The first “Studium Genarale” seminar was held

The very first “Studium Genarale” seminar was successfully held in classroom 202 on November 25. Studium Generale is a series of talks organized by International University of Japan (IUJ) involving its faculty, students and other like-minded people with a view to provide an academic forum for interacting and exchanging views on research and teaching relating to broad mission and vision of IUJ. Studium Generale through uniquely diverse community at IUJ comprising of faculty, students and staff from around the world could bring rich knowledge, experience, and oriental wisdom leading to human wellbeing. IUJ’s Entrepreneurial Club project awarded financing

LOGITRIPS SELECTED TO RECEIVE FUNDING FROM INVESTMENT FIRM International University of Japan (IUJ) is pleased to announce that Logitrips, a start-up incubated out of its Entrepreneurial Club initiatives, was selected to receive investment from Mission 500, a private investment firm based in Tokyo, Japan and this sets a precedence and opens up possibilities for future entrepreneurs being trained at IUJ.
