“The 5th CHO Forum” was held

On Wednesday, October 21, 2015, the “The 5th CHO (Chief Human Resource Officer) Forum” was held at the IUJ campus. The event received 40 human resource managers from 34 top-tier corporations as respected guests. This Forum aimed to promote the globalization of human resources, as well as to exchange views, ideas and concerns among company guests from different industries. IUJ Ranks 90th in the Economist’s “Global Top 100 Business Schools”

IUJ Ranks 90th in The Economist’s “Global Top 100 Business Schools” The Economist recently published its 2015 MBA rankings, and the Graduate School of International Management (GSIM) at the International University of Japan (IUJ) is listed as one of the world’s top 100 business schools. IUJ’s overall rank is 90th. The GSIM at IUJ is the ONLY school from Japan to again be included in this ranking. We also ranked 6th among all schools in Asia. “New Students Welcome Day 2015“

On Friday, October 2, 2015, IUJ’s “New Student Welcome Day” was held, and the arrival of 220 incoming students from 47 countries and regions was celebrated by special guests and IUJ’s faculty and staff. This is the biggest incoming class since 1982 when IUJ was founded. Now the IUJ campus has 375 students. The breakdown of the 220 students is 114 for the Graduate School of International Relations and 106 for the Graduate School of International Management. Change in IUJ Leadership

Dr. Kimio Kase, IUJ’s Vice President, assumes the position of IUJ President as of October 1, 2015. He succeeds Dr. Shinichi Kitaoka, who has served as President of the University since October 2012. Dr. Kimio Kase was born in 1949 in Chiba prefecture, Japan. He specializes in Strategic Management, focusing on Corporate-level Strategy. He received his BA (Foreign Studies) from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in 1972, MBA from IESE Business School in 1984, and Doctor of Business Administration from Manchester University in 1996. He worked for Price Waterhouse European Firm (Consultancy Division); Spencer Stuart Spain; and Inter-American Development Bank (Evaluation Office). IEP Team Presentation was held

On Sep. 4, a Team Presentation session for the Intensive English Program(IEP)was held at MLIC Hall.   IEP is an 8-week intensive English program held between mid-July and early September to enhance participants’ practical English proficiency in the international environment at IUJ. This year, IUJ accepted 91 participants from 17 countries (54 Japanese, 37 Non-Japanese). The team presentations are given in the last session of the oral communication skills and listening skills instruction units. The participants were divided into groups of 3 people. Tuition Changes starting in September 2016

August 2015 Tuition Changes starting in September 2016   International University of Japan   This is to notify you that the International University of Japan (IUJ) will change its tuition fees, effective September 2016 as shown in the tables below. The new fees shall be applied to students enrolled in or after September 2016. The fees for current students will remain the same during their period of enrollment. With the changes in tuition fees, IUJ will further enrich its scholarship support to students as well as improve various aspects of its educational environment.
