It is time: Time to VOTE for the best Onigiri! 5 IUJ-student Onigiri (rice ball) teams are competing this year for the crowning of “The World’s Best Onigiri!” This event is sponsored by the city of Minami Uonuma to feature our delicious rice, Koshihikari, with original Onigiri recipes created by IUJ students. March 18, 2021 At the International University of Japan (IUJ), we have been watching the developments in Myanmar very closely. We have also received many comments both on social media and in writing from various sources. Today, I would like to share our policy about some of the points involved in this situation. Needless to say, we condemn any attempt of a military coup against a democratically elected government. President Itami shares Video Message with Students

On February 25, as IUJ students headed into the end of winter term, IUJ President Itami sent them a video message. Dr. Itami wanted to express his thanks to the students for their effort to combat COVID19, and keep it from entering the iUJ community.
