The International University of Japan is holding an online information session on Wednesday, December 18th from 7 pm until 8 pm, to give prospective students insight into what the school has to offer. IUJ was established in 1982 as the first English-language graduate school in Japan. Chairman Utsuda received the Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun. The Order of the Rising Sun (旭日章 Kyokujitsu-shō) is a Japanese order, established in 1875 by Emperor Meiji. The Order was the first national decoration awarded by the Japanese government, created on 10 April 1875 by decree of the Council of State. The order is awarded to those who have made distinguished achievements in international relations, promotion of Japanese culture, advancements in their field, development in welfare or preservation of the environment. IUJ Ranks 94th in The Economist’s “Global Top 100 Business Schools” The Economist recently published its 2019 MBA rankings, and the Graduate School of International Management (GSIM) at the International University of Japan (IUJ) is listed as one of the world’s top 100 business schools. IUJ’s overall rank is 94th. The GSIM at IUJ is the ONLY school from Japan to again be included in this ranking. We also ranked 6th among all schools in Asia. International University of Japan (IUJ) has not yet decided anything about the city’s planning for a new Regional EcoCenter, however, we would like to announce our basic position about it in order not to cause rumors and misunderstanding within and outside of the IUJ community.   Notice IUJ has gained much support from, and coexisted with Niigata prefecture, specifically the Uonuma region, for nearly forty years since our foundation. Matsushita Library Information Center (MLIC) event, “LIBRARY DAY” was held in MLIC Hall on Saturday, October 26th. The 1st International Business Conference was held at the Vietnam – Japan Institute for Human Resources Development

This April, a joint office for the International University of Japan (hereinafter IUJ) and Vietnam – Japan Institute for Human Resources Development (hereinafter VJCC) opened on the 2nd floor of the VJCC at the Foreign Trade University (hereinafter FTU) in Hanoi, Vietnam. As a joint project between IUJ and VJCC, on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at 9:00 am, on the 3rd floor of the VJCC, the 1st International Business Conference was held on the theme of “Enhancing Business Development between Vietnam and Japan”, and keynote speeches, including one by President Hiroyuki Itami, were presented.
