Living in Japan right now, and looking to further your education? The International University of Japan is holding an information session in Tokyo on Wednesday, January 16th from 7pm until 8pm, to give prospective students insight into what the school has to offer. IUJ was established in 1982 as the first English-language graduate school in Japan. Currently, 360 students from 60 countries undertake studies at the university, with over 4,300 additional alumni hailing from a total of 129 countries. Alumni Bonenkai (year-end party) was held in Tokyo

Over 60 IUJ alumni from 27 countries came together for a memorable evening at the International House of Japan. It was the occasion of the annual Bonenkai, or year-end party. While some walked to the event from their place of work, others traveled from overseas proving again that IUJ is “Where the World Gathers!” And IUJ alumni “Gather Around the World.” Alumni coming from India, Korea, Philippines and New York, USA joined during their business trips or personal travel. The 2019 Hult Prize On Campus Round was held at IUJ

On Saturday, December 1st, IUJ’s Hult Prize event was held on campus. The Hult Prize is a competition which started in 2009 and encourages students to come up with ideas that tackle pressing social issues. This year’s event centers around the global issue of youth unemployment, and ten teams presented their ideas on how to create jobs for 10,000 young people over the next ten years. From the initial ten teams that took part in the event, the judges chose six groups who progressed to the final round. The Culti Fiesta was held on November 24

The 2018 Culti Fiesta was held on Saturday November 24th, and showcased the best in IUJ’s diversity and culture. This is one of the university’s largest annual events, alongside the Open Day and International Festival held each May. A total of eighteen groups took to the stage on the night, with music and dance performances on display from all corners of the globe. With students hailing from around 50 countries, the sharing of cultures and traditions is a fundamental part of studying at IUJ. Announcing the International University of Japan’s “James Brian Quinn Scholar” Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement

IUJ will proudly honor our top academically performing students in the Graduate School of International Management with the “James Brian Quinn Scholar” Award starting with the Class of 2019. This unique honor will be earned only by the top 5% of the graduating class* based on cumulative GPA for the duration of their IUJ degree program. This Award’s namesake, Dr. J. Brian Quinn (1928 – 2012), became the first Dean of IUJ’s business school, Graduate School of International Management, in 1988 when it opened its doors with the help of the Amos Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College’s graduate business school in the United States.
