IEP Team Presentation was held

IEP students in Oral Communication Skills & Academic Listening Skills course made team presentations on September 1 and 2 at MLIC Hall on Campus, as part of their group project activity. These presentations were based on analyses of international business cases involving cross-cultural conflicts. After each presentation, an active Q&A session was held in which the presentation groups interacted with the audience. IEP is an 8-week intensive English program held between mid-July and early September to enhance participants’ practical English proficiency in the international environment at IUJ. Global IT Park Minamiuonuma Inauguration Ceremony

Global IT Park Minamiuonuma inauguration ceremony was held on August 23 at Yamato government office.  Prof. Jay Rajasekera (IUJ vice President) participated in Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Mr. Masakatsu Mori (IUJ vice Chairman) delivered a congratulatory address. Global IT Park is operated as the first IT industrial base in Japan by Minamiuonuma-city and Adam Innovations Co., Ltd, Director, Mr. Kaushal Wawlagala (IUJ Alumnus E-business program class of 2006).  IUJ plans to support Global IT Park in marketing and languages with the help of current students and alumni network.

The Intensive Japanese Program for Vietnamese Japanese teachers and Japanese language researchers started in Hanoi, Vietnam

The Intensive Japanese Program for Vietnamese Japanese teachers and Japanese language researchers is held in Hanoi, Vietnam from August 8 through August 19 by University of Languages and International Studies(ULIS) and Mitsui & Co. Vietnam Ltd. The purpose of this program is to enhance the quality of Japanese education in Vietnam.  The three Professors of IUJ Center for Language and Research provides the lectures. There are almost 20 of participants this year. The IUJ-ULIS Cooperative Office has opened on Nov. 7, 2015 as our first overseas office to establish a relationship with universities, research organizations, etc. in Vietnam. Intensive English Program(IEP) has started
