English Presentation Training Program for Yokohama Municipal Minami High School was Held

On July 14th, 2018, IUJ welcomed 20 students of Yokohama Municipal Minami High School (Minami High School) to give English training program which attempted enhancing their presentation skill.   Minami High School, which designated as Super Global High School (SGH), aims at “developing next generation business leaders from international city, Yokohama.” Under this initiative, based on “time of integrated study”, they attempts to research and develop next generation leaders who can conceive ideas which would solve social challenges mainly in south-east Asia area, and who can carry out those ideas by creating a sustainable social business.   In this English training program, all the language was English including presentations about […]

IUJ International Students Experienced Rice-Planting 2018

Rice-planting season has come in Uonuma-area! Hanoi-Niigata Information Exchange Meeting was Held in Hanoi

In January 22nd and 23rd 2018, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), and the International University of Japan (IUJ) held “Hanoi-Niigata Information Exchange Meeting” in Hanoi. It was planned and held based on the agreement which JETRO, NUT and IUJ concluded in May 2016 related to the promotion of comprehensive collaboration and partnerships. English Training Program for Yokohama Minami High School was Held

English Training Program for Yokohama Municipal Minami High School designated as Super Global High School (SGH) was held on November 4th and 5th on campus. This training program was conducted in all English with an emphasis on “output” in English. On the first day, Professor Mohammed K. Ahmed, specially appointed professor of Graduate School of International Management gave a lecture of Cross Cultural Communication. Mid-Presentation for Uonuma studies was held at Kokusai Joho Senior High School (KJ) which is only one high school in Niigata Prefecture designated as Super Global High School (SGH) on November 20th, 2017. From International University of Japan (IUJ), two graduate students participated in the presentation event to advise or guide high school students in their presentations. On June 26, 2017, International University of Japan (IUJ) Chairman Mr. Shoei Utsuda delivered a keynote lecture at Niigata Prefectural Kokusai Joho High School (KJ). May 16th 2017, 10 IUJ international students participated in rice-planting which was held at Kokusai Joho high school (KJ). It was a good opportunity for them to experience Japanese traditional culture as well as to enjoy communication with high school students. IUJ and University of Ghana have signed a MoU

The International University of Japan (IUJ) and University of Ghana (UG) signed MoU on March 2nd, 2017. Vice Chancellor Owusu and Professor Kayang from Animal Science visited IUJ Tokyo Office, where the signing ceremony was held. Ms. Roselyn Asante who graduate from UG and IUJ student (MBA Program, 2nd year) now accompanied President Kase to MOU signing ceremony. Alumni Reunion &Social Gathering in Ghana on February 13th

On February 13th, Alumni Reunion &Social Gathering in Ghana was held. More than 40 participants (Government organization, Japanese company alumni and so on) joined this event. IUJ was selected by Top Global University Project by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. The event was held as a part of this project effort to make a strong networks in Africa.
