IUJ Campus Clubs – Examples of the types of activities outside of the classroom that students organize are shared below. For a list of current leaders (or clubs seeking leaders)  please visit this site.  In early October each year, incoming students are introduced to the clubs and encouraged to sign up with that year’s leader.

Student representative/IUJ improvement groups
  • GSO Executive Committee (elected positions) – Campus Social activities and club coordination
  • IR/IM Councils (elected positions)
    • IR Council – Academic matters and academic events such as debates, and speech contests
    • MBA Council – Academic matters and academic events such as business plan competitions
  • HOUSE Program – friendly competition among the 10 HOUSES of Nakayama
    • Head of House – elected position – coordinates year long HOUSE competitions and scoring
    • HOUSE Captains – leads their HOUSE of 30-35 students in various activities to try to win the HOUSE Championship

  • Culti Fiesta – fall term celebration of campus cultures (campus community event)
  • IUJ Ski day – winter term fun at the ski slopes for beginners to advanced skiers alike
